"Training Made in Germany" stands for the internationally recognized quality of the German initial and continuing vocational training system. Continuing vocational training is increasingly becoming an international service product. The BMBF therefore supports marketing for "Training Made in Germany" with the establishment of the iMOVE office. The objective of iMOVE is to contribute to preparing German programmes of continuing vocational training for the international competition by means of special measures, and to position them increasingly on the international market of continuing training.
iMOVE stands for International Marketing Of Vocational Education. It provides information and advice for German providers of continuing vocational training when moving into international markets. The iMOVE office, which was established by the BMBF at the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training, works for the international marketing of German providers of initial and continuing vocational training within the framework of the Concerted Action Marketing.
iMOVE is the contact point for German providers of initial and continuing vocational training and provides assistance in developing international markets. iMOVE promotes German initial and continuing vocational training abroad - i.e. "Training Made in Germany".
The service includes delegation visits to interesting countries in order to establish contacts with new customers, education institutions and state institutions. However, meetings and workshops on specific target markets, seminars and further training of continuing training providers, market studies and current information on foreign markets, representations on trade fairs and at conferences and a foreign-language continuing training database for international marketing are also offered. iMOVE prepares German continuing training providers for the worldwide competition and positions them in international markets. "Training Made in Germany" stands for internationally recognized quality.
